These were originally raised by hand using old-fashioned wooden pie moulds but, in the 21st century, deep muffin tins make everything so much simpler. The most famous English pork pies come from Melton Mowbray.
We provide you with the complete filling mix containing the right amount of pork and pork fat, bacon, seasoning necessary to make two deep miffin tins of delicious pork pies, all you have to do is supply the hot water curst pastry and we show you how to make that.
The filling mix is make up of 2 1lb. packs of filling mix, enough for 2 muffing tins, some for now and some for another time.
